Dana White and Eddie Hearn Clash Over Fury vs. Joshua Promotion

October 5, 2026Carlos Mendoza2 мин

Dana White and Eddie Hearn are continuing their public dispute as the build-up to the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight progresses.

White and Hearn have starkly different views on who is involved in promoting the heavyweight bout scheduled for December 11th. White insists he will be part of the Fury vs. Joshua production. Hearn, from Matchroom Boxing, has challenged the Zuffa Boxing chief, stating the fight contract prohibits White from any promotional role.

During the UFC 332 post-fight press conference, White addressed Hearn’s comment that he was "cooked" after Ben Whittaker's win over Conor Wallace. White reiterated his position on the matter.

"I will be there," White stated. "We're producing the show, just like Canelo-Crawford. The same team. Craig Borsari, Zach, my entire crew. We will be producing the show. I'll have my phone on the table, as I do with every show I produce. ... I'm producing it. I'm promoting it. I'll see you in Wales."

Hours earlier, Hearn told reporters that White cannot legally be involved in producing Fury vs. Joshua.

"He actually said, 'We're doing the TV production,' which, again, is prohibited by the contract," Hearn said.

"I started to feel sorry for him, but then I saw all that and thought, 'Just release the video.' After that video, I spoke to SELA and asked, 'Did you see this?'

"They replied, 'Yes, and it's completely untrue.' They confirmed that in writing. He can't do that under the contract. I have to admire him. Instead of saying, 'Okay, fair enough, Hearn got me,' he insists, 'No,' and refuses to back down. So, I have to respect and admire that because his nerve is incredible. They want me to meet them in L.A. next week, which I likely will."

At the kickoff press conference for Fury vs. Joshua, Michael Buffer did not mention White’s name during introductions. When Turki Alalshikh did mention White, the London audience booed.
