Henry Cejudo Calls Out Dean The Great After Misfits Boxing Win
Henry Cejudo is still focused on a fight with Nurideen "Dean The Great" Shabazz.
Shabazz withdrew from their scheduled bout last Saturday due to an injury. Cejudo then faced and defeated Javon Walton by split decision in the Misfits Boxing main event. Tony Ferguson also competed on the card, defending his middleweight title.
Speaking with Fred Beck of "Fred Talks Fighting," Cejudo stated he still wants to fight Shabazz and believes Shabazz is avoiding him.
"First and foremost, I think Deen 'The Duck' owes me a f*cking fight," Cejudo said. "That's what he does, and it's time for me to put that duck to sleep. You guys have to stop calling him 'Deen The Great,' it's 'Deen The B*tch.' Why don't we call him that? He needs to show up, and we have to throw down because that was the original plan. If he can't do that, then just stream; don't talk your sh*t. You're not a boxer then. If you're not willing to fight, then just stream and have fun kissing your boyfriend Adrien 'Boner' (Adrien Broner)."
Since ending his professional MMA career, Cejudo has returned to freestyle wrestling with RAF and has participated in influencer boxing. The former two-division UFC champion wants to secure a fight with "Deen The Great" soon.
Shabazz lost a unanimous decision to Amado Vargas in a boxing match late in 2025. It remains uncertain if he will pursue a fight with Cejudo again.
